Who We Are
We’re Elina and Isabel. We met while training in Transpersonal Coaching Psychology and kept coming back to the same question: what helps a powerful experience become something you can actually live with and learn from?
That question became the starting point for the Integration Hub.
We created the Hub to make it easier to find thoughtful, experienced support after psychedelic and other significant experiences. Integration can take many forms, and the right kind of support will look different for different people.
Our role is not simply to connect you with a coach. We want to help you find someone whose experience, approach and way of working fit what you need, and who can support the process without imposing a meaning or a fixed idea of what integration should look like.
Why Integration Matters
A psychedelic experience can bring new insight, surface old patterns, or shift how you see yourself and your life. But the experience itself is only part of the process.
Integration is what happens afterwards. It is the work of making sense of what emerged, noticing what continues to matter, and finding ways to bring that into everyday life. Sometimes that leads to clear changes. Sometimes it raises more questions before anything becomes clearer.
There is no single way to integrate, and the process is rarely linear. It can involve reflection, emotional processing, changes in relationships or behaviour, and simply allowing time for an experience to settle.
The Integration Hub connects you with coaches who are experienced in this work and can support you in exploring what your experience means for you, without imposing an interpretation or pushing you towards a particular outcome.
Meet the Founders
Elina Viitaniemi
Co-Founder · Transpersonal Coach · Integration specialist · Psychedelic facilitator
Elina is a psychedelic practitioner and certified transpersonal coach specialising in psychedelic preparation and integration. She is interested in what happens when an experience disrupts the familiar ways we understand ourselves, and in how insight, emotion, bodily experience and uncertainty can be worked with without rushing to turn them into neat answers.
Trained in Transpersonal Coaching Psychology with the Alef Trust and in psychedelic-assisted therapy in the Swiss context, Elina works with the whole person. Her approach is reflective, embodied and non-directive, with attention to what is being said as well as what is sensed, felt, imagined or not yet fully understood.
Alongside the Integration Hub, Elina is co-founder of Nua Silta, where she co-leads legal psilocybin retreats in the Netherlands and psychedelic facilitation training. Her work there spans the full arc of the psychedelic process, from preparation and accompaniment during sessions through to integration afterwards. Live voice, singing and drumming are also part of how she works in psychedelic settings.
Before moving more deeply into psychedelic work, Elina spent more than twenty years in global health, innovation and organisational leadership, including senior roles within the United Nations and leadership of a national cancer support organisation in Switzerland. She has also volunteered in end-of-life care and accompanied people facing serious illness and major life transitions. These experiences have shaped her capacity to stay with complexity, uncertainty and experiences that do not have immediate solutions.
Her work is also informed by contemplative and spiritual traditions, nature-based practice, and her Finnish and Nordic background. She brings a grounded, spacious quality to integration, helping people stay close to what has emerged and explore how it might become part of the way they live, rather than simply something that happened to them.
Isabel Almeida
Co-Founder · Transpersonal Coach · Integration specialist
Isabel has walked a path of healing, integration and spiritual awakening for over thirty years, through plant medicine, somatic healing and spiritual emergence. Along the way she came to understand what people need most when they arrive at the threshold of transformation. Information helps, but what matters more is a quality of presence that makes the unfamiliar feel safe enough to move through.
That understanding shapes everything about the way she works.
Trained in Transpersonal Coaching Psychology with the Alef Trust, Isabel works where the psychological, the somatic and the spiritual meet. She spent ten years as a wellbeing coach before specialising in integration, and her background in yoga, including training as an Ashtanga teacher, runs through her practice. Her sessions weave together somatic awareness, breathwork and integration coaching, so that what emerges from an experience is felt and lived as well as understood.
She works through Rewire by Heart, her own coaching methodology, which brings together open-awareness meditation and gentle inquiry so that insight can arise in its own time and take root in daily life.
Isabel knows what it is to live in a nervous system that learned early to brace against the world. Through years of practice and deeply transformative experiences, she has also discovered that the body holds its own wisdom and its own capacity to return home. That knowing lives in her work. Her approach is relational, trauma-aware and non-directive: she holds people without directing them, supports them without telling them what their experience should mean, and offers space where the body can finally exhale.
-
We're both trained in transpersonal coaching psychology, an approach that honours altered states, spirituality and non-ordinary consciousness while remaining grounded in psychological frameworks. We both bring lived experience of non-ordinary states and the integration work that follows.
Our work is relational and trauma-aware. We hold space for experiences that were difficult or destabilising, not only those that felt meaningful. We don't pathologise altered states. And we trust that people know their own timing and readiness.
-
The coaches in our network are independent practitioners who run their own practices and set their own fees. What they share: respect for autonomy, a non-pathologising stance towards altered states, and the ability to hold space for all kinds of experiences without imposing a framework.
When we suggest a match, we consider practical things, such as language, time zone and availability, as well as subtler things, such as the kind of support you're seeking, your context and what might make a good relational fit. It's human discernment, not a formula.
-
We hold space for the full range of experiences: not just the transcendent, but the confusing and difficult too.
We respect people's timing. Integration happens when you're ready. There's no expiry date.
We're transparent. We're a hub for connection, not a provider of substances. Our focus is preparation and integration.
We honour all contexts. Retreat, therapeutic, solo, exploratory: all are valid. No hierarchies.
We prioritise your agency. You stay in control. You can decline a match. You can pause. You decide.
This is what we're building: a space where thoughtful matching happens, where support honours complexity, and where integration is understood as ongoing, relational work.
If this resonates, we're here.
